This year, the folks at Lodi Zombie Walk are taking the party to the movies. Lodi Stadium 12 will be opening at 9 p.m. for a special showing of the horror comedy classic, “Beetlejuice,” starring Michael Keaton, Gina Davis and Alec Baldwin.
They’ll be doing it “Grindhouse” style, with some live entertainment before the show, including a “Beetlejuice” look-alike contest!
Lodi Zombie Walk is all about coming out to play, says Zombie Club President Tom Presler, who encourages crazy costumes.
The party starts at 6 p.m. at Take 27, right next to the movie theater. Get your zombie makeup done and enjoy special surprises and treats at the restuarant. This is also the place to register and purchase wristbands.
Participating in contests, games, F/X demo, the “Beetlejuice” movie showing and all the extras is just $12 per person. Children 12 and under are $8. Participation in the walk is free. Ten percent of proceeds will beneifit the Wounded Warrior Project.
