I don't speak from experience, and sometimes wonder where exactly these poems come from inside my adolescent mind. Unlike the general idea that teens wish to be adults, I would rather grow with my age and not with society. I will continue to write and submit my poetry. Thank you very much for your appreciation of my work!

This is a very good poem Ms. Chesney. It is a very mature subject for someone of your age; I hope you don't speak from experience. When we are teenagers, we so much want to be adults, but when we are adults we sometimes wish we could be teenagers again. Keep working on your poetry and your own voice. I hope you will submit more poems to the Lodi News Sentinel.
