"Victorian Christmas" in Elk Grove
Relive Christmases of the past at the first-ever "Victorian Christmas" today. Professional decorators have completely transformed the Elk Grove House Stage Shop into a Victorian Christmas Extravaganza. The gift shop will feature many one-of-a-kind gifts and free gift wrap will be offered with each purchase of $20 or more. A barrel will be available for donations to Toys For Tots, the U.S. Marines annual toy drive.

Jamie Foxx in Sacramento
Jamie Foxx, an American Oscar winning actor, Grammy-nominated, multi platinum R&B singer, pianist, comedian and actor, will perform at Arco Arena on Friday.
Foxx began his career in 1991, when he joined the cast of, "In Living Color," where he won an audience with unusual characters and impressions. The characters he played included ugly girl Wanda, fictitious boxer, Carl "The Tooth" Williams, and "The Dirty Dozen's, "T-Dog Jenkins." His impersonation of Garrett Morris gave him the opportunity to star against the former, "Saturday Night Live," cast member in his sitcom, "The Jamie Foxx Show."
He has played in movies including, "Coming To American," in 1988, "Toys," in 1992, "The Truth About Cats and Dogs," in 1996, "Shade," in 2003, and "Miami Vice," in 2006. He won an academy award in 2005 for best actor in his performance in "Ray," and in 2004, he won an Academy Award for best actor in a supporting role for his role in "Collateral."
Foxx's music career began in 1994 with the release of his first album, "Peep This." He hosted the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001, and then was featured on rapper Twista's song, "Slow Jamz." The song reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. In 2005, Foxx was featured on the hit single, "Georgia," by Atlanta rappers Ludacris and Field Mob. The song sampled Ray Charles' hit "Georgia on My Mind." His second release, "Unpredictable," sold over 598,000 copies in its first week and reached the U.S. number one spot in its second week.
In 2006, Foxx received a nomination for a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for "Creepin." At the 2006 BET Awards, he won Best Duet/Collaboration with Kayne West for "Gold Digger," and also Video of the Year.
