Summer of Love Comedy Concert in Lockeford

After a slight vacation from live comedy, Vino Piazza starts reignites the fires of funny with the "Summer of Love Comedy Concert" starring Grace White and Doug Ferrari.

The show will have a hippie theme, which is sure to bring back memories for a generous amount of baby boomers.

White, who is billed as "That Old Hippie Chick," brings together performers who were there, "back in the day," refering to the '60s era.

She has also had quite a career in her relatively short comedy career that began with the onset of middle age. White has opened for 3 Doors Down, Jefferson Starship and Jethro Tull. She also appeared in the movie "The Independent."

Ferrari didn't become a hippie until 1972, but that doesn't stop him from creating world-class laughs.

Ferrari won the 1986 International Stand-Up Comedy Competition in San Francisco, and has gone on to make a name for himself in the field of laughter.

He has written for Rodney Dangerfield and Jay Leno and has opened for Neil Young, The Steve Miller Band and Ray Charles.

There will be a wine tasting at the Olde Lockeford Winery, where the show is held, prior to the comedy.
