1. Taste of the Delta spotlights garlic, olive oil, wine and other local flavors

The 16th annual Taste of the Delta kicks off from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Guests will enjoy live music by Levi Huffman and sample snacks from 17 eateries, including the Bee Box, Garlic Brothers, Olive Drop Olive Oil, California Endive Farm, Rob’s Smokin’ Rub.

Wines will be available from more than 20 vintners, including Lodi’s Michael David Winery, Weibel Family Vineyards, Van Ruiten Family Winery, Oak Ridge Winery and beyond. Bogle Vineyards, named Best in California by the California State Fair, will also be in attendance.

More than a dozen vendors will show off fashions, crafts, photography and more.

2. Visit local wineries on the Tour of Albariños

Several Lodi wineries are celebrating International Albariño Day with the Lodi Tour of Albariños. Taste the dry, white wines that are catching on around Lodi and growing in popularity throughout Northern California.

Visit any of the participating wineries for a free guidebook and to begin exploring Lodi Albariños: Bokisch Vineyards, Dancing Coyote, Estate Crush, Klinker Brick, Mettler Family Vineyard and Oak Farm Vineyards.

A few of the wineries will also be offering discounts on cases or bottles of their Albariños.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

3. Happily Ever After Begins Here: Lodi’s 18th annual wedding event

On Sunday, brides- and grooms-to-be are invited to Happily Ever After Begins Here, the annual wedding event at Hutchins Street Square.

The event organizers promise to help couples plan the weddings of their dreams. Representatives from wedding professionals will be in attendance, and a fashion show will demonstrate the latest in wedding styles.

Couples can enter to win fantastic prizes, including the “A Bit of Heaven” spa package for brides (couples must be present to win).

4. A fighting great time at Global Knock-Out 10

Jackson Rancheria presents Global Knock-Out 10 at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Outdoor Venue. The action-packed MMA card features 11 fights — including main events between Justin Baesman vs. Brandon Hester (middleweight), and Jamall Emmers vs. Erick Sanchez (featherweight), plus Melida Martinez and Ana Palacios in their amateur debuts.

Ringside seats are $105, rows three to five are $75, and general admission is $55. The fight card is subject to change. Fights begin at 8 p.m. Saturday.

5. American Craft Show glams up San Francisco

San Francisco’s largest craft show features hundreds of artisans showcasing handmade textiles, jewelry, furniture and more. But these aren’t everyday arts and crafts.

The juried, three-day show showcases the top 230 artists and designers across the country, including Douglas Bartholomew, who makes unique furniture from cut wood; eye-catching ceramics artists Amanda Dobbratz and Mei-Lan Tan; experimental lighting designer Erin Smith; and basket artist Lisa Young.

The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, 2 Marina Blvd., San Francisco. Tickets are $14 for a one-day pass, or free for children 12 and under. For more information, call 612-206-3100.
