Stella oh Stella, my Darling wife,
Our love was so pure, so sharp as a knife.
We’ve been together more than sixty three years,
We went through life, with laughter and tears.
And now my Darling that we are apart,
I’m left behind with an aching heart.
Somehow my Darling, we’ll meet up again,
Somehow my Darling, as sure a the rain.
My grief from your absence, has no end,
I’m trying my Damnest for my heart to mend.
I remember the years when times were good,
To relive those memories, if only we could.
I pray to our Lord for your soul to keep,
For only we know that our love ran deep.
We bonded in marriage, for better or worse,
To have and to hold, forever of course.
In all the years, you were forever my bride,
You’ll have to admit, it was a Hell of a ride.
I’m writing this poem with sadness and tears,
For we’ve been together for so many years.
Stella oh Stella my wonderful wife,
Together we lived a blissful life.
So long my Darling as I’ll see you soon,
And when we do, we’ll both ride the Moon.
