George Gemellos shares a life of happiness, hard work in new book
George Gemellos tells the story of his life in Lodi in his self-published book, “I Was Never Meant to Work for Others.”
- About the poet
George P. Gemellos, born in Sacramento on 1926, moved to Lodi in 1927. He attended Lodi High School, and joined the Navy in 1944. He arried Stella Kratsas in 1948 in Pennsylvania. They have two children, Valli Wigt of Modesto and George II of San Jose, six grandchildren and two great -grandchildren. He has written many other poems including the trial of O.J. Simpson, in his book, “I Was Never Meant To Work For Others.”
