My lifetime is finally gone,
My will to live is gone,
My life flashes before my eyes,
What I see is a surprise.
I will never again be able to feel my wife’s hair,
I’d give up being a multimillionaire,
Just to be able to share,
The touch than set my love a flare,
I will never smell the smell of the ocean again,
Be cause of this chest pain,
Like the smell of leaves in fall,
Right now I can’t smell at all.
I will never hear my children play,
On a bright summer day,
I will never hear them laugh,
Like the first time they saw a giraffe,
My life is finally over,
I will never see the clovers,
Blooming in my field,
Suddenly I feel as if I’ve been healed,
My pain is finally gone,
Just from cherishing what been going on,
I hear a bird chirp,
And realize my pain was just a burp.
