Dennis Ziemienski traveled Highway 99 as a child, and was dazzled by the neon signs and Giant Orange stands. Now he has turned his memories into an exhibit at the Knowlton Gallery
Dennis Ziemienski works in his home studio near Sonoma. His latest show, “Old U.S. 99,” is on display at the Knowlton Gallery, and features 34 pieces of roadside attractions, old-fashioned eateries and vintage signage from Highway 99.
