On Wednesday, Changing Faces Theater Company will open its 11th summer in Lodi, with the classic pirate tale "Treasure Island." This Lodi-based show has a comedic spin, however, that reveals a battle of the sexes as the focus is on female pirates of the 1700s.
The main show is directed by Mike Bartram and Sabrina Willis. The pre-show is directed by Natalie Willis and Sophia Longmire.
Performance dates are July 11, 12, 13, 19, 20 and 21, and will be held at Jessie's Grove Winery, 1973 W. Turner Road. Gates open at 6 p.m., and curtain for "Treasure Island" is at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40, and include dinner, dessert, a marketplace, a pre-show featuring the company's younger performers and the main show. There are $20 show-only tickets offered on the July 11 and 19, but dinner is available all six performances.
