This year, ZinFest welcomes four new wineries to its line-up. Learn more about these first time participants and what they have to offer at ZinFest this year:

One-Way Winery: Winery co-owner, Debra Green, says her and Co-owner husband Mike Green are looking forward to “great weather, good music and entertaining offerings.” Their 18-acre estate in Acampo, where they grow their own winegrapes, offers a variety of wines, four of which they will pour at ZinFest this year – pinot grigio, cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel and rose. So which wine should you taste from their samplings? Debra recommends their award-winning signature cabernet sauvignon, which she describes as having a “fruit-forward flavor,” with berry and cherry flavors and no hard tannins.

Victor Vineyards: First time participants Victor Vineyards decided to participate this year as an opportunity to introduce their new wines to Lodi, according to Hilary Lawson, sales and marketing representative for Victor Vineyards. The newcomers will pour five wines at ZinFest this year, all of which Lawson says are new. Grab a glass of their newest offering, a 2012 Chardonnay described as “alluringly crisp with flavors of apple, pear, peach, vanilla and hints of toasted French oak,” blended from the upper and lower levels of Lawson Ranch, located in the Mokelumne River AVA.

Lodi Vintner: According to the event’s website, Lodi Vintner will be pouring two wines at its first-ever ZinFest – a 2012 Boneshaker Zinfandel and a 2012 Concreate Zinfandel. The newcomer is located in Woodbridge, just a few miles south of Lodi.

Release Party

McCay Cellars: Among the available beverages, some wineries will be offering their new releases, available for the first time at ZinFest. McCay Cellars is releasing eight new wines – 2013 Pinto Gris, 2013, Très Blanc, 2013, Rose’, 2012, Tempranillo, 2011, Faith Zinfandel, 2011, Equity Zinfandel, 2011, TruLux Zinfandel, 2012, Petite Sirah, in addition to pouring other favorites.

Other wineries will feature new releases, as well.
