Effective leaders are often affable and diplomatic. As executive director of the Lodi Winegrape Commission, Camron King humbly blends traits in his ongoing work with winemakers and growers to promote the area.

He oversees a region that had its second-largest harvest on record last year. The average price of winegrapes per ton increased by 17 percent to set a new high. As head of the commission, King’s also tasked with spreading the message of Lodi Rules, a program for sustainable winegrowing overseen by a committee of vintners, growers and scientists.
