Reading newspapers can encourage positive attitudes toward reading, improving English skills, and providing young people an opportunity to be better informed, proactive citizens in your community.
Learning Link is a program of the Lodi News-Sentinel designed to help teachers use the newspaper in the classroom in creative ways to integrate reading, writing, math, social studies, science and critical thinking skills.
As an important component of the Learning Link Program curriculum material using the newspaper is provided for classroom use.
