Rotary Club of Stockton is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a resident of San Joaquin County to further his/her education in a Career Technical field at San Joaquin Delta College or another not-for-profit college. The recipient of this award will be recognized for significant effort to overcome adversity or serious obstacles in the pursuit of his/her career goals. High school seniors and adults are eligible. Apply online.

CANERS Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors and current college students who will major in Horticulture, Agribusiness, Viticulture or Pomology. Application is online.

Robert E. Green Memorial Scholarship — one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a senior in San Joaquin County. Eligibility criteria include: 1) enrollment in an accredited school for fall 2014, 2) involvement in community service and student activities. Financial need may be considered, but is not required. Applications are available in the Career Center.

Elks Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program will award up to thirty scholarships of up to $2,000 each. Scholarships are renewable. Qualified applicants can receive a total of four years of assistance. Eligibility requirements include: 1) U.S. citizen and California resident, 2) have a physical impairment, neurological impairment, visual impairment, hearing impairment, and/or speech-language disorder, 3) have financial need, 4) be a senior in high school or a high school graduate. California Alarm Association will award $40,000 in scholarships this year to children of active duty law enforcement and fire service personnel. Eligibility criteria include: 1) high school senior, 2) SAT or ACT scores, 3) must have a parent or legal guardian who is a full-time active duty employee. Apply online.

Blue Diamond Growers Foundation will award scholarships to seniors and current college students who plan to attend a 4-year college in Fall 2014 to major in a field related to agriculture.

Minimum 3.3 GPA. Download application.

CA Wine Grape Growers Foundation will award up to six scholarships of $2,000 — $8,000 each to high school seniors who will attend a CSU, UC or CA Community College in Fall 2014. Children of vineyard employees or employees who work for a wine grape-growing company may apply. Applicants may major in any subject. Applications are online.
