Can I branch out without hurting a friend?

Dear T2T: Thanks for taking my letter and giving advice. I love reading Teens2Teens.

Anyway, I need some advice on friendship. I have had the same best friend for a couple of years now. We used to do everything together just the two of us. Then we started hanging out with other people together. So it was the two of us in a larger group and if one of us didn’t go, the other one didn’t either.
