As an outreach to Lodians, students from Jim Elliot Christian High School decided to prepare a hot meal for those in need.

Under the leadership of Tom Spadafore, eight Elliot students spent five hours at Hale Park preparing, serving and mingling.

Half of a pig, which was barbecued on site, was donated by the Hanson family. Another campus group prepared 100 sack lunches, which were also distributed.

More than 200 people of all ages were fed.
