On Oct. 19, the Lodi High Honor Band performed their field show at the Del Oro Parade and Field competition. There were 15 bands in the parade that marched through the town of Loomis.

The field competition had 20 bands in 5 divisions perform. Lodi High was in division A with three other bands. They performed their show titled Legends of the East under the direction of Glen Guevara. The band came home with three well deserved trophies.

The High Brass section received 1st Place. The Trumpet Section Leader is Alex Cavasos, and Brass Section Leader is Kelsey Churchill.

The band was awarded 2nd Place in division A. The Drum Major is Jesus Munoz and the Assistant Drum Major is Nikki Karapanos. Jesus Munoz recently received 3rd place overall for the direction of the band at the Elk Grove Field Show on Oct. 12, 2013.
