“Kimberly Hernandez is a top notch student who is a great example of what we want all students to be. She is a high achiever in all academic areas, responsible, takes a lot of initiative, is a good citizen here at Lawrence, and a positive member of my class that has a great attitude. Teachers from the past have commented how much they enjoyed her as well. Kimberly is a member of the Student Council. She is an all around model student!” — Jen Gutierrez, 6th Grade Teacher

“Eduardo Jacobo is one of our classroom heroes. He has really made an awesome effort to succeed in academics this year. He is our "go to" student. He is eager to take on any job I ask of him. He also helps out other students with logging on the computer, finding school supplies, and translating for me when my Spanish is inadequate. The students wrote about their own personal classroom hero and Eduardo's name was the most frequent choice. The personal quality they mentioned most was his helpfulness.” — Kerrie Keenan, 1st Grade Teacher

“Michelle Ramirez is an excellent student who does all work and turns it in on time. She is an awesome citizen and friend. Many times you may see her helping others and cooperating to get things done. Michelle is working toward achieving her goal of teaching someday.” — Terry Roberts, 4th Grade Teacher
