Washington Elementary School names Classroom Heroes
Mario Montez is a 5th grade student in Mr. Nuss’s classroom. He comes to school prepared everyday and always puts his best effort into his classwork. Mariano takes the initiative to get things accomplished and was elected to the School Leadership team to represent his grade level. Other students look up to Mariano because of his great sense of humor and wonderful ability to make lots of friends.
Vanesa Mendoza is a 6th grader and the Student Body President at George Washington Elementary in Lodi. She is an outstanding role model for students and adults alike. You always see her having positive interactions with others, and she has prioritized her education as a top goal of hers and her families. Besides her leadership role on the Student Council, Vanesa is active in intramural sports and she is a standout Gifted and Talented student. Vanesa can be heard daily on the school’s intercom system announcing upcoming events and sharing her pride in George Washington School.
