Dear T2T: I am kind of thinking about trying one of those pot brownies. I have never tried any type of drugs, but these seem to be pretty safe from what I hear. Do they work? What will it make me feel like? Will I get sick? — Curious Cannabis
Response No. 1:
To start it off, you have a good question. Marijuana has become a big part of society and using it is very common nowadays. If you are curious about trying marijuana, you should know some basic facts. Currently, marijuana is illegal in the state of California. If you have it in your possession and are caught, you will have to deal with the consequences of the law. Since you have never experimented with drugs, you probably do not know the effects that they may cause. Drugs, no matter how they are taken, are never safe. Even in a controlled environment, drugs can be dangerous. The effects of drugs vary. It will give you a high, but what goes up must come down. If you are dealing with something personal and don’t want to address it, drugs are not the proper way of dealing with your problems. If this is not the case and you just want to experiment, then we still advise you not to. Marijuana is known as the “gateway drug”. It is commonly known as this because for some once they try it, they want a bigger and more powerful high. These people go on to try more dangerous and addicting drugs such as heroin, meth, acid, and shrooms. These drugs lead to sickness and death. Our advice to you is not to experiment with marijuana. We are glad you came to us first and we hope we gave you helpful insight.
Response No. 2:
First of all as with any illegal substance we don’t recommend partaking in any consumption of marijuana, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be informed. While some may consider it safer than other drugs there are still inherent risks with using marijuana. Once again it is illegal, but it also has a chance to be addictive. This is a very potent form of marijuana due to the active ingredient THC being releases by the baking process. I have heard stories of over ingestion that lead to a high lasting over three days, so it is very important to know exactly what is going in to your body. The result of ingesting marijuana varies from user to user, meaning there is a chance you could or could not get high, and a chance you could or could not become sick.
