What are your immediate plans after high school?

Attend University of the Pacific in the fall, and study civil engineering.

What are your future life goals, career or otherwise?

Be an engineer or a massage therapist.

What activities were you involved in during high school?

Church youth group (student leader), football, wrestling, basketball, track, missions trip to Mexico.

What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received?

Governor's award for testing improvement.

What was your most memorable high school experience?

Going on a missions trip to Mexico in the summer of 2002.

Sarah Buhr

Sarah Buhr, 17

What are your immediate plans after high school?

Delta College for one year, then the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.

What are your future life goals, career or otherwise?

I want to be a high school Spanish teacher and volleyball coach.

What activities were you involved in during high school?

Student Council, volleyball, basketball, Grace Club, Silent Sounds, Yearbook

What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received?

All-American Christian Athlete, A. Dale Lackey CIF Scholarship, All-County Pinnacle team, Salutatorian, Golden Eagle.

What was your most memorable high school experience?

All-School Retreat and volleyball.

Cara Couchman

Cara Couchman, 18

What are your immediate plans after high school?

I plan to work during the summer, and then attend Biola University in the fall, majoring in biochemistry.

What are your future life goals, career or otherwise?

Someday I would like to get married and have kids, and be involved in my community and my church.

What activities were you involved in during high school?

Student Council, Interact Club, California Scholarship Federation, basketball, track, cross-country.

What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received?

Biola academic scholarship (4 years), Robert C. Byrd Scholarship (4 years), Salutatorian.

What was your most memorable high school experience?

Just being here at Jim Elliot the last two years has been more memorable than any single experience I have had.

Jessica Howen

Jessica Howen, 17

What are your immediate plans after high school?

Attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in York, England.

What are your future life goals, career or otherwise?

After CCBC, I want to go to a four-year university in the states on an NROTC Scholarship, then do my time as an officer in the U.S. navy.

What activities were you involved in during high school?

Student Council, softball, Interact Club, Silent Sounds.

What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received?

Salutitorian, MVL All-league 2003 softball, MVL All-League honorable mention 2002 softball, Principal's Honors in 16 quarters.

What was your most memorable high school experience?

Having a perfect softball season, and advancing two rounds of playoffs this year in softball.
