Goals: Continue working at the local library and attend University of California, Davis in the fall. And of course plenty of rest. That means sleep! Travel or simple wanderings around the world (i.e. New Zealand, Ireland). Stagnant-free career path, plenty of modification and change. I guess I’ll have to be creative.

Activities: California Scholarship Federation president, Key club, International club, Warriors for Christ, tutoring, community service at library and food drives, ceramics, honors and German language program.

Awards and Scholarships: Golden State Merit Sealbearer, CSF Sealbearer, Bank of America plaque winner in liberal arts, Top of the Class Award from San Joaquin Delta College, Renaissance Top 10, principal’s honor roll, Schwab-Rosenhouse Scholarship, Governor’s Scholars.

Most memorable experience: “The silent treatment for our dear friend Mr. Majewski and the bright and cheery experience with Ms. Hoyt in my junior year.”

Goals: Attend college at University of California, Irvine. I want to get a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, get a job at a private firm possibly and start a family.

Activities: Cross-country, track, band, CSF, jazz band, San Joaquin County Honor Band for three years.

Awards and Scholarships: UC Irvine Regent’s Scholarship, Schwab-Rosenhouse Scholarship, Bank of America math and science award, cross country MVP, Golden State Exam Merit Seal Diploma and track’s Most Valuable Distance Runner.

Most memorable experience: “Either the first time I participated in the San Joaquin County Honor Concert Band my sophomore year, because the music was so beautiful, or league finals for track my junior year, because I never had a better day running. It was the day I broke 5 minutes for the mile race.”

Goals: I plan on attending Azuza Pacific University in Southern California and majoring in Chemistry. My career is still up in the air. I would really like to get into forensic science and become a criminologist, but teaching also interests me. I just hope that from here on out, that my life will be an adventure.

Activities: CSF, Warriors for Christ, Key club, International club, speech and debate, drama, cross country, track and youth group.

Awards and Scholarships: Track MVP, Most Outstanding, Most Inspirational, Distance MVP, Female Most Outstanding, president’s and trustees’ finalist, science award, honors program, Bank of America science award and Golden State Exams.

Most memorable experience: “Being with my friends, going through our own and different experiences and coming out on top of it all, league finals senior year and Senior Prom.”

Goals: I plan to go to University of California, Davis to continue my education and major in computer engineering. I am not exactly sure what I want to do. I am majoring in computer engineering, but I have a lot of other interests I might want to explore.

Activities: Soccer team, drama, competitive soccer, SADD and CSF.

Awards and Scholarships: Bank of America award for mathematics, Governor’s Scholar and Golden State Exams recognition.

Most memorable experience: “Playing on the Galt High soccer team had to be one of the most memorable experiences in high school. I had so much fun and I love all of the girls on the team. It was great.”

Goals: In September, I will be a student at Stanford University, majoring in materials engineering. Later in life I intend to have a career in biotechnology research, a few books on the best-seller list and most importantly, a white picket fence.

Activities: Warriors for Christ; Key club; marching, concert and jazz bands; teaching Catechism at church; coaching softball; tutoring math; and county honor band.

Awards and Scholarships: National Merit Commended Student, National Hispanic Scholar, Golden State Sealbearer, First Place MIT Enterprise Fair, Design Award MIT Robotics Competition and Most Distinguished Drum Major Award.

Most memorable experience: “Spending six weeks studying at MIT in Boston during the summer.”

Goals: I will be attending California State University, Sacramento in the fall. My long term goal is to become a teacher. I would like to teach either elementary or secondary school students.

Activities: Child development, CSF, Key club, UC Davis Early Academic Program, Family Career and Community Leaders of America and volunteer work for Galt Community Concilio.

Awards and Scholarships: Schwab-Rosenhouse Scholarship, Sacramento Phi Delta Kappa Scholarship for Prospective Educators, Outstanding Filipino Youth Recognition and Achievement Award, Renaissance Top Ten Award, Delta College Top of the Class, Who’s Who Among American High School Students Achievement Award, Golden State Exam honors award for written composition, Renaissance Gold Card Winner for Academic Achievement, Bank of America certificate winner for family and life sciences.

Most memorable experience: “My most memorable experience was a being a part of the Child Development program. This program has really inspired and has taught me so much about what it means to be a teacher, therefore, making my desire to become a teacher so much stronger.”

Goals: I’ll be enjoying this summer and attending University of California, Davis, in the fall. I’m going to pursue a career in computers and someday I’d like to start my own consulting firm. I’m also interested in film and teaching.

Activities: Future Business Leaders of America president, Honors program, top ten and principal’s honor roll.

Awards and Scholarships: State FBLA ninth place in computer concepts and seventh-place in networking concepts and KXTV Channel 10 Student of the Week.

Most memorable experience: “My most memorable moments are from my honors classes. We’re all friends in honors and we’re like a family.”

Goals: I will be attending University of California, Berkeley, majoring in civil engineering. Be a really cool civil engineer and like my job.

Activities: VICA for drafting, CSF and Key club.

Awards and Scholarships: California State Fair first-place ribbons for sculpture in 2000 and 2001, Golden State Exam recognitions in physics, biology and written composition, GSE honors in economics and math.

Most memorable experience: Team Physics (comic), Boy’s NIght Out, RISK: The Gathering, Super Smash Brothers, SuperCook (my band).
