On top of the wine business

Grape growers and businessmen pose on rail cars loaded with wine grapesoutside the Earl Fruit Co. packing shed on Main Street in this circa 1920s photograph. The grapes were brought into Lodi and loaded on the rail cars, which most likely were bound for West Winery in North Stockton along the Central California Traction rail line.
