City took control of water, electricity in July 1910

One hundred years ago in July 1910, Lodi city officials took over operation of the water and light plants.

Trustees had a special meeting the night before the city formally took control on Friday, July 1, in order to hire two employees and agree to keep the rates the same for at least one month.
