June 5, 1974: Residents urge 'natural' park along Mokelumne

“Keep it natural,” but clean it up seemed to be the consensus of opinion during a special Lodi Recreation and parks Commission meeting last night regarding the use of the Pig Lake area.

The meeting, held in the Lodi City Council Chambers at City Hall, was called to let citizens voice their opinions on using the newly-acquired 58-acres of river front land.
