When the Reverend Taro Goto leaves for Japan September 8 he will not only represent the Pacific Japanese Provisional Conference of the Methodist Church, of which he is superintendent, but the city of Lodi as well.

Rev. Goto has contacted the Japanese Consulate General in San Francisco, in order to find a Japanese city comparable in as many respects as possible to Lodi. Once the city has been found, actions will be taken to establish a “sister-city” relationship between the two.
