White Apron Club celebrates new clubhouse

Four months after constructing a new clubhouse on rural Sargent Road west of Lodi, the hardworking women expected to pay off the last of the building debt with a dinner and dance in the winter of 1926.

Well done for a group of farmers' wives with the humble and "homey" name of the White Apron Club, stated the Stockton Daily Evening Record on its "News of Clubdom and Realm of Music" page of the Jan. 16, 1926 issue.
