Gemellos established Lafayette Winery in 1935

George Gemellos' thick fingers gingerly went through a small stack of black-and-white photographs showing his father's old winery west of Lodi.

With each photograph of people long gone and buildings, weathered but still standing, Gemellos told the story of his family and Lafayette Winery.
