Lockeford’s Graeme Stewart celebrates 90th birthday

Graeme Stewart of Lockeford celebrated his 90th birthday in November. He was born Nov. 1, 1922 in Portland, Ore.

Stewart served as the Lodi Grape Festival manager from 1978 to 1993. He owned cattle and horse ranches from Northern California to British Columbia. He was one of the founding members of the Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association in 1949 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006. He won numerous cuttings and ropings from Calgary to San Francisco. He was married to Jackie for 60 years.
