As we welcome 2014, now is the perfect time to make a few little tweaks to our habits that will pay off in terms of our bank accounts and our health. A significant drain on finances, and likely waistline expander, that may be under the radar for you, revolves around lunch.
While you may not spend more than $15 at any given time, that expense can add up over a week or a month, and with portion sizes, salt, oil and sugar over the top at most eateries, going “out” to lunch on a regular basis can be risky business.
