The other thing to consider and could have been addressed is how to get excess sodium from the body. From my understanding, since sodium is a water soluble then drinking the recommended amount of water will help reduce the sodium in your body. In simplest terms, the more you pee, the lower your sodium.
The other thing I have heard is maintain a high potassium diet
