There's nothing new about promoting a healthy Mediterranean diet, but I keep reading more about it being recommended by health experts as a plan that continues to show reduction in inflammation, heart disease, diabetes, some cancers, and even Alzheimer's.

I thought it a good time to summarize the eating plan and share recommendations for how much to eat - the magic words. After all, moderation is a key component of any healthy eating plan.
