“Rethink Your Drink” is a catchy name for a county-wide and even state-wide educational campaign hoping to get our communities to switch from sugar-filled beverages to the best beverage choice — water. Pump the water and dump the sugar is the practice health advocates are encouraging everyone to adopt and for very good reason — your best health.

Scientific evidence continues to point to the relationship between drinking sugar-sweetened beverages and the increased risk of being overweight or obese.
