Is oatmeal cool again? I sure think so. Gourmet bowls of oats and other porridges seem to be popping up on restaurant menus again.

When is the last time you had real oatmeal? It's not the stuff that comes in cute little packets with trendy flavors like apple and cinnamon and brown sugar. If it has been a long time since you have had the real thing, you should give it a try again. It can be so much more than the boring bowl of bland mush that you remember. Good, hearty oats make for a wonderfully satisfying and delicious morning meal.
