Dear Jennifer: With all of the personnel cuts the Lodi Unified School District is facing next school year, I find it hard to believe there are two full-time employees and their entire job is to oversee swimming pools. What do they do?

Assistant Superintendent Art Hand who oversees the district’s facilities said the there are two certified pool operators assigned to the district’s four swimming pools; one to Tokay High School and Lodi High School, and the other to the pools at Bear Creek High School and Ronald E. McNair High School.
