Dear Jackie: I get headaches a lot, especially during the summer, and my friend thinks it’s because I don’t drink much water. Is that true? I hate the taste of water!

Headaches can have different causes, but in this hot season, inadequate fluid intake is often a cause. If you’re also feeling unusually tired, constipated or having dizzy spells, this could be the culprit, since these also may be signs that you are not getting enough fluid.
