Q: I gain about 10 pounds every year between October and January. Do you have any tips to keep this from happening?

A: Whether it's Halloween candy, Thanksgiving pie, Hanukkah latkes or Christmas cookies, there are many delicious, pound-packing treats this time of year. Between the abundance of goodies and the cold weather dampening our motivation to be physically active, it's no wonder many people find their weight increasing this time of year.
