Dear Jackie: I'm nine weeks pregnant, and I've had bad morning sickness the last few weeks. I'm scared to take medicine, though. What can I eat that will help?

Many women experience nausea at the beginning of their pregnancies. It's believed to be caused by the hormone changes that go along with pregnancy. While most women see improvement in their nausea by weeks 12 to 14 of their pregnancies, some may battle nausea and vomiting long past the first trimester.
