Dear Jennifer: I read about the track being renovated at Tokay High School, but why not do work on Lodi High's track, since it is made of dirt and full of weeds?

I have personally used the Lodi High School track and I know what you mean, but Art Hand, who oversees facilities and planning for the Lodi Unified School District, tells me the Tokay all-weather track was first installed with the school's original construction in 1977. It was later refurbished in 2005, so it's probably in need of a facelift.
