With just about everything electronic requiring some sort of battery or another it is not surprising that many people have questions about disposing of batteries.

The key thing to remember about throwing away batteries is not to. Throwing away batteries in California is illegal because the juice used to power batteries is considered a hazardous material under California's Universal Waste Rule.
