Bring imagination to life at Design Quest
Children can create and build robots at the Design Quest exhibit at the University of California, Berkeley.

When: Lawrence Hall of Science is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Design Quest exhibit runs through Sept. 2.
Cost: $12 for adults (ages 19–61), $9 for students, seniors and disabled (ages 7–18; 62-plus), $6 for children (ages three to six; children under three are admitted free), free for members, UC Berkeley students and staff, and free for active military personnel and their families through Labor Day, Sept. 2.

Children, let your imaginations run wild and your hands create; build robots, design bridges, create flying machines that no one has ever seen before and invent moving architecture that will change the world. There are no limits to what you can dream up, including imagining a story and seeing it come to life and creating your own interactive games.
All this and more can be experienced during the Design Quest exhibit at The Lawrence Hall of Science. You will have an opportunity to design your one-of-a-kind creation, build a prototype and then test your invention. You can take on engineering design challenges with Cal students and helpful staff daily, and on special Saturdays you can meet and work alongside real engineers, artists and design makers.
