What’s the attraction: A walk through urban communities, where alleyways are filled with colorful murals painted by local groups and artists. The Precita Eyes Muralist Association strives to beautify inner city environments and celebrate the Mission District’s heritage and arts.
What to do: The best way to experience the many murals is by doing a walking tour, either self-guided or with a tour set up through the Precita Eyes Mural Arts and Visitors Center. You will likely see interesting characters, from artists working to photo groups setting up tripods and cameras at the end of the day.
