The museum is located at 201 S. Market St. in San Jose. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday. General admission is from $6 to $14 depending on which area of the museum is visited. There are also membership fees. For more information, visit www.thetech.org or call 408-294-8324.

Located in Downtown San Jose’s former convention center on San Carlos Street, The Tech Museum provides hands-on technology to both children and adults. Roqua Montez, director of public relations, recommends people visit the museum if they are looking for an authentic and unique science experience but to have some fun.
“It is our goal to introduce and inspire people to learn about science and technology, to be innovative and to understand that technology is a source to understand and solve life’s problems,” he said.
