Lodi restaurants embracing gluten-free options

Four years ago, when Stacy Lister and her daughter, Amaris, wanted to go out to eat, there were few options in Lodi. Her daughter has celiac’s disease, which means she cannot eat wheat, rye or barley.

“When she was 3, people just didn’t understand it, and that was only four years ago,” Lister said. “It’s definitely changed and even finding a loaf of bread in town is so much easier. I had to go to Whole Foods before.”
