About seven years ago when Sandy Cook was on the committee of an organization in the Mormon church, she began thinking of fun activities to do. She then began teaching a class on how to cook with simple ingredients. After a couple of years, she expanded her home kitchen and was able to accommodate up to 30 women in a class.

She later became introduced to Liz Edmunds, also known as The Food Nanny, who is a dinner coach, cookbook author and star of reality TV show, The Food Nanny Show.
