Lodi High's political prodigies compete in speech finals

If you bring up a political subject in front of speech team members at Lodi High School, you're likely to be caught up in a debate. Or you will hear the student's detailed perspective on the topic.

The 14 students going to the California State Speech Finals - nine of whom are going to the U.S. National Speech Finals - are well-versed in current events and Congressional bills. In fact, many of them know how to find a problem in society and propose a bill to Congress.
