The ocean, teaming with life, offers an exciting respite for many, including sun, surfing, snorkeling and just all-around merriment and fun for all. But the ocean also covets a darker, hard-to-navigate side — dangerous shores and rocks.
Ships have been lost throughout history to these relentless dangers because of uncharted territory, captains unfamiliar with the shores, and no advanced warning of how close ships were getting to land.
