Daytripper Celebrate the end of summer with an American River rafting trip

What is the attraction? As a last hoorah to celebrate the end of summer, consider tubing or rafting down the American River this weekend. Floating is a fun way to spend the day, enjoying the heat of summer while staying cool in the always chilly water.

What is there to do? Floating on the American River can be done in a variety of different ways. When I went, we all brought our own equipment. Some of us had rafts to sit in while others had tubes. We went with friends who knew the river well and could help steer everyone.
