A Senior Fraud Fest will be an added feature of the 31st annual Senior Awareness Day on Thursday at Micke Grove Park. At 9:30 a.m., Suzanne Shultz, of the San Joaquin District Attorney's Office, will speak about personal safety and protection; Congressman Jerry McNerney will speak at 11 a.m.; and Andrew Roth, director of education and outreach for the California Department of Corporations (DOC), will speak about investment fraud at 11:15 a.m.

Annette DePauli, of the San Joaquin County Aging and Community Service, said the Senior Fraud Fest was added to help raise awareness about senior fraud investment protection.
