Dating at work isn't worth the effort. A relationship with a fellow employee is appealing due to its taboo nature, but the passion is sure to flame out quickly. Then — if you are anything like me — you are left with some spurned hostess glaring at you from across the dining room.
It starts innocently enough. Some harmless flirting. A lingering look. It progresses from there. You have a few cocktails after a shift and it gets, well, physical. Next thing you know she's blathering about "us" and you're left swapping shifts to avoid working with her.
